Bolivians may enter Argentina with presentation of PCR test and vaccine document

Argentina will reopen its border this Friday for foreign tourists from Bolivia and other bordering countries with the presentation of the negative PCR test and the document of the anticovid vaccine scheme.

The national director of Migration of the neighboring country, Florencia Carignano, confirmed the reopening of the border by air and the legally enabled land crossings.

“EThis Friday, foreign tourists from neighboring countries are allowed to enter. Anyone who wants to come has to do a PCR before getting on the plane or going through any of the land crossings, “he said.

According to Carignano, In order to enter, tourists have to carry the vaccine given the 14 days prior to their trip towards Argentine territory.

Argentina closed the land crossings with Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Brazil at the end of March 2020 because of the Covid-19 pandemic and it remained until this Thursday.

“In November the requirement of having to swab to enter will be lifted, which will allow a greater amount of income. If minors are not vaccinated, they have to quarantine, just like adults who are not vaccinated, “Carignano warned.
