Bolivia shone once again in the J30 international youth tournaments, for the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors, and the G4, for the Cosat Tour, which ended this Saturday in Santa Cruz by winning eight of the 12 titles that were at stake. With both tournaments the tour that took place in Bolivia concluded, in which the Green always swept.
The J30 took place on the courts of Las Palmas Country Club, while the G4 Cosat was played at the Santa Cruz Tennis Club. Of the eight titles Bolivia won, two were in the Under-18s. Mariana Zurita (singles) and Luciana Flores with Thais Mitlmeier (doubles) won. The remaining six were for the G4 that is part of the Tour of the South American Tennis Confederation.
They won in singles: Matías Riveros and María Sejas (both in Sub-14). In doubles they triumphed: Alejandro Bejarano with Leonardo Suárez and Emilia Bustillos with Martina Salaberry (Under-16); in addition to Rivero with Matheo Calvo and Sejas with Georgina Velasco (Under-14). Three of the other four titles were won by Brazilians: Filipe Costa, Antonio Gomes and Sofía Omati. The rest went to the Colombians Mateo Castañeda and Samuel Vidales.
