A new trailer for Chloe Zhao‘s Eternals shows Gilgamesh punching a Deviant right in the face. And we’re getting more footage of Eternals using their superpowers.
The Marvel movie is one that has a lot going for it. In the film, we get to know a whole new team of superheroes, who have been on Earth for thousands of years to protect humanity from the Deviants.
Marvel’s Eternals
In the film, the Eternals face off against the sinister Deviants, a destructive race of creatures that threaten life on Earth. Initially, the Eternals are a close-knit group that works well together, but that was in the past.
In the present, they are no longer allies, and must put aside their differences to face the Deviants again and continue to protect the Earth.
The latest trailer shows off some of the powers of the Eternals. In the footage, we see Gilgamesh using his powers to knock out an attacking Deviant. We’ve previously had several teasers of the powers of Eternals (from laser eyes to special weapons), but this is the first time we see Gilgamesh in action:
