Sporting announced, this Monday, the renewal of Hugo Neves, a 22-year-old Portuguese international, who has been on loan for the last three seasons.
The pivot was ceded to Quinta dos Lombos, in 2019/2020, and in the first half of 2020/2021, to be filmed. He returned to Alvalade for the final stage of that season, where he would eventually participate in winning the National Championship and League Cup. In 2021/2022 he was loaned again, this time to Eléctrico, where he stood out with 15 goals in 34 matches.
“The loans were a way to grow. I appreciate the trust of the mister [Nuno Dias] and come back to triumph, because that’s what Sporting does. We will fight for all the trophies that the club disputes so that in the end we smile together”, said Hugo Neves, in statements to the club’s media.
?? “I am a Sportinguista and, whenever I wear this jersey, you can expect me to work and sweat on the court”.
