BOLA – Portugal wins bronze medal at the World Relay Championship (Athletics)

The National Team finished third in the 4×200 meter race at the World Relay Championship. It proves that, remember, it is taking place in Poland.

Frederico Curvelo, Delvis Santos, Diogo Antunes and André Prazeres, the Portuguese quartet, finished the round at 1.24.53, the second best national brand in history (Ricardo Alves, Francis Obkiwelu, Vítor Jorge and Carlos Calado achieved 1.24.20 in 2003) . Only Germany (1.22.43) and Kenya (1.24.26) were ahead.

This was the first medal obtained by the National Team in this event.
