BOLA – Madrid opens stadiums and limits capacity to 600 people (Economy of the Ball)

The Comunidad de Madrid is preparing to decree the reopening to the public of the sports facilities and will limit the capacity of the stadiums to 600 people, advances this Monday the online newspaper ‘Palco23’.

The change that will be published this Monday defines a change in security measures to face Covid-19. In Madrid, the decision was made to immediately open the sports facilities to events, competitions or training sessions to the public.

The assistance limit will be 300 people for closed spaces and 600 for outdoor stadiums, with the obligation that each person must wear a mask mandatory and a distance of 1.5 meters between people.

The Spanish region of Madrid is going to start this Monday, a series of new measures aimed at trying to contain the advance of coronavirus in that region. Among the measures are the limitation of ten people in gatherings in public or private spaces, the ban on dances at weddings and the ban on the public at bullfighting parties.

These measures, announced by the regional government last Friday, will be applied after their publication in the Official Bulletin of the Community of Madrid (BOCM) and will be reassessed every 15 days, in order to adapt according to the evolution of the pandemic.

In order to prevent the spread of the virus, gatherings in public and private spaces are limited to ten people, with some exceptions, when until now the restriction was only effective in public spaces or on the street, while in private spaces there was only one recommendation.

Dances and the installation of bars during wedding celebrations are also prohibited, where guests will have to remain seated to consume food and drink.

In addition, the capacity of people in this type of celebration goes from 75% to 60%, in places of worship and in cemeteries.
