FC Porto beat Sporting by 3-1, in a match referring to the 2nd round of the championship qualifying phase, in under-19, held this Saturday afternoon, at the Estádio Municipal Jorge Sampaio, in Vila Nova de Gaia.
The dragons took the lead in the 18th minute, through Martim Fernandes, an advantage that would be increased shortly after, with a goal from Doro Dabó.
FC Porto’s dominance continued to be a reality in the second stage and, as a result, the score was 3-0, by Gabriel Brás.
Sporting only managed to approach with relative danger of the Porto goal in the last half hour, period in which the blues and whites were reduced to 10 units, by expulsion (very doubtful…) of David Vinhas. Even so, the best thing the Lions could do was reduce to 3-1, through Youssef Chermiti, from a penalty, in the 86th minute.
With this triumph, FC Porto now has three points, while Sporting continues with only one point.
On the next round, FC Porto travels to Vitória de Guimarães (Saturday, the 26th, at 3 pm), with Sporting hosting Benfica (Saturday, the 26th, at 7 pm).

Start of the second part!
FC Porto’s undisputed advantage at the end of the first 45 minutes. Despite the first shot of the game until it belonged to Sporting – Youssef Chermiti, on the 7th minute, saw his attempt from outside the area go off the right post of Ángel Fernández’s goal, the truth is that, from there, only gave FC Porto.
The blues and whites came to dominate completely, playing most of the time in the opposing midfield, and came unsurprisingly to the goal in the 18th minute, when Martim Fernandes headed the best follow-up to a cross from the left by Francisco. Guedes.
The goal motivated José Tavares’ men even more, who, shortly afterwards, increased the advantage: Rui Monteiro still saw his shot being saved by Francisco Silva, but, in the rebound, Doro Dabó was in the right place to make it 2-0.
Until the break, it should be noted, the dragons were once again close to the goal, but Rui Monteiro, twice, failed to register his name in the list of scorers.

34 minutes: Great opportunity for FC Porto! Excellent assistance from Doro Dabó and Rui Monteiro, after winning the back of the leonine defensive, he shoots over the crossbar of Francisco Silva.
24 minutes: FC Porto scores! Excellent move by Rui Monteiro down the right flank, shot by the white and blue winger to save Francisco Silva, but, in the rebound, Doro Dabó, inside the small area and at the tip of the spear, shoots for 2-0.
