Boisse-Penchot. JBA: three youngest on the podium

After winning the two rounds of the county council of Decazeville and Rodez, three young people from Judo Bassin Aveyron de Penchot performed brilliantly in the northern zone competition, in Montauban, in the youngest category. The northern regional zone is made up of 4 departments bordering Aveyron, namely Tarn, Tarn-et-Garonne and Lot. It was a great competition, very tough and stressful because only those who achieve the podiums are issued a ticket for the last phase: the regional cup of Occitanie.

A gold medal

Alex Noyé, as a good captain, easily won the gold medal in -55 kg. More diligent and focused than ever, he didn’t give his opponents the slightest chance. He breaks his record for fastest scored ippon. It only took 5 seconds for Alex to attack and win his last fight! Élaïa Aygadoux wins the bronze medal in -63 kg. In constant progress, she uses the strategies and perfectly applies the techniques learned. She must free herself mentally and gain even more self-confidence in order to progress further. Élaïa has all the skills and tools to achieve great performances.

3 champion seeds

Timéo Géraud, just out of the Covid, presents himself reduced to the competition but he has been looking for all the necessary resources to go through the stages. Versatile in front / rear grips and attacks on the left, he lost in the final by a hair’s breadth. Promising result for the future, when Timéo will have regained all his energy and mobility.

A lot of ambition and confidence therefore for these three champion seeds who will represent the colors of Judo Bassin Aveyron at the Occitanie competition, on April 24, in Mèze.
