Just over ten minutes into the second half, Kofi Asare had a great opportunity to score 1-0 for Landskrona BoIS against GAIS.
Barely a minute later, the Mackerels instead scored the only goal of the match.
This meant a loss for BoIS with the Allsvenskan team.
Training matches have a single purpose:
Practicing what you need to get better at.
Therefore, it was a very useful experience for Landskrona BoIS. Which showed that they can handle the pressure game from an Allsvenskan team, but all the more difficult to threaten offensively.
Now they had to practice it further. Which should be useful when in two weeks you face Superettanmotstånd in the series premiere, at home against Sandviken.
Max Mölder sums up:
– GAIS was quite wait-and-see in their press, so we had a relatively large ball possession. We got past them a few times, but when we did it lacked quality. We got rid of the ball in simple ways. The defense harness was okay and the big brush strokes were pretty good, then there were individual details that needed to be improved.
On the downside:
– Two injuries. David Edvardsson (foot that has been in trouble for a long time that got a bang now) and Adam Egnell (something with the groin). I can’t answer how serious it is, because I honestly don’t know, says Max Mölder.
Now BoIS shakes off the frost in the bangs and goes on Monday to Spain, where a week-long camp in Salou is to be completed.
A camp that, incidentally, no media should cover.
Unless a company is keen to sponsor Skånesport and receive the following:
* Reportage about their company on the site.
* Visibility in about ten articles from Salou.
* Visibility in around ten video reports from Salou.
* A hamburger and large soft drink at Skomakaregrillen.
