Last season’s fourth club, Bohemians Praha 1905, also started preparations for the new season of the Fortuna League. The players first completed fitness tests at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports and then gathered in their training area in Uhříněvs.
After a very successful season, the kangaroos are waiting not only for the domestic league, but also for the 2nd preliminary round of the European Conference League. In it, the green and white players will face the Norwegian champion FK Bodo/Glimt.
The match will take place on July 27 in Norway and then on August 3 at Letná in Prague. In the new stage of the club, coach Jaroslav Veselý will be able to count on reinforcements Robert Hrubý and Matěj Hybš.
Pavel Osmančík and Denis Vala were available at the first training session, who have had successful engagements in the second highest competition.
After pleasant representative duties, Jan Matoušek will join. Michal Beran, who was a guest at the club from Slavia, also continues in Bohemians. His future will be decided in the coming days.
Forty-two-year-old Josef Jindřišek will lead the team with his experience in the next season as well. Skilled forward Václav Drchal was also with the kangaroos only on loan.
He finally decided to accept Miroslav Pelta’s offer and score goals in Jablonec. The contract also ended for Jan Morávek, who did not play much in the spring. Next up is the action of goalkeeper Martin Jedlička.
