REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR – Bogor District Police (Polres) said they would examine a circumcision violation in Salak Village, Cibunian Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency attended by Rhoma Irama, Rita Sugiarto to Yus Yunus. The reason is, Bogor Regency still imposes proportional large-scale social restrictions (PSBB).
“We will determine after an examination of the people involved. Both from the organizer, invited guests. We will all check,” said Bogor Police Chief AKBP Roland Ronaldy in Bogor Regency, Monday (6/29).
In a circumcision event held on Sunday (28/6), the organizer of Surya Atmaja invited a number of artists, such as Rhoma Irama, Rita Sugiarto and Yus Yunus. Although they came as invited guests, the artists sang songs on the stage provided by the organizer.
If a violation is found, Roland asserted, the police will determine the article in the proportional PSBB that will be charged. “After that (questioned) about what article they violated,” he explained.
Furthermore, Roland said he was disappointed that the event provided an entertainment stage. Because, together with the Covid-19 Handling Task Force in Bogor Regency, his party had sent a letter rejecting the entertainment stage. “We are also disappointed with this. Because it does not give up what we have done,” he explained.
Regarding the information of Police Chief General Idham Azis who revoked the information of MAK / 2 / III / 2020 Number issued on March 19, 2020 regarding compliance with government policy in handling the Covid-19 deployment, Roland said it does not mean that normal activities can be done. Roland stressed that the information should still be used in health protocols.
“It means that it is not necessarily free to carry out non-verbal activities. There are further orders that the health protocol is still implemented, especially in areas where the distribution of Covid-19 is high and there are specifications in other fields,” he explained.
Previously, the Bogor Regent and the Chairman of the Covid-19 Task Force for Bogor Regency Ade Yasin Munawaroh was furious with the appearance of the Rhoma Irama sworddut. Even though he only came as an invited guest, Rhoma, who promised to cancel the concert, turned out to be still performing by contributing a song at a circumcision event in Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency, Sunday (28/6).
“The task force has acted decisively by sending a warning letter so that Bung Rhoma did not appear and all forms of entertainment were abolished because it could invite crowds,” Ade said via short message.
Rhoma himself has stated that he would follow the government’s recommendation not to hold a concert that caused a crowd in the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak. Through his Facebook account published on Wednesday (6/24), Rhoma Irama promised to cancel the concert in Salak Village, Cibunian Village, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency.
“At the moment the Covid-19 outbreak is not over yet, it is not conducive, of course, we from the Soneta Group, and from the Surya (the organizer) will certainly cancel or reschedule the appearance of the sonnets,” said Rhoma.
