Bogor Regent Got OTT Blamed Subordinates, KPK: Denial is Normal

The KPK opens its voice regarding the statement that the Bogor Regent is inactive Ade Yasin | who called his subordinates the cause of his entanglement in a hand-catching operation (OTT). The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) calls the objections legal.

“The suspect’s rebuttal is a common thing and is generally conveyed. That is the right of the person concerned,” said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday (28/4/2022).

However, Ali explained that the determination of the suspect Ade Yasin was in accordance with the investigation process and the allegations found KPK. Ali ensured that the KPK had strong evidence in accordance with applicable regulations.

“KPK in increasing the investigation process of alleged corruption in this case, of course, already has various strong and sufficient evidence according to legal provisions,” he added.

Ali also hopes that the parties involved in this case can cooperate. He advised the parties who received the KPK summons to convey information as it is.

“We hope that the suspect and the parties summoned KPK to be cooperative in explaining what is in front of the Investigative Team,” said Ali.

Bogor Regent Blames His Men

It is known, Bogor Regent Ade Yasin admitted that he did not know about illegal transactions in the Bogor Regency Government’s effort to get the Unqualified Predicate (WTP) from the BPK. He accused all the transactions were the initiative of his subordinates.

“Yes, I am forced to take responsibility for the actions of my subordinates, but as a leader I must be ready to take responsibility,” said Ade Yasin at the KPK, Thursday (28/4).

He called this case the work of his subordinates. In fact, he called the initiative a disaster.

“It was an initiative from them, so this is called an IMB, an initiative to bring disaster,” said Ade.

Previously, Ade Yasin was named a suspect in a bribery case worth Rp. 1.9 billion to a BPK employee representing West Java. It is suspected that the bribe was intended so that Bogor Regency could regain the title Unqualified (WTP) 2021 from the West Java BPK.

1. Ade Yasin, Regent of Bogor Regency for the 2018-2023 period
2. Maulana Adam, Secretary of the Department of PUPR, Bogor Regency
3. Ihsan Ayatullah, Head of Sub-Division of the Regional Treasury for BPKAD, Bogor Regency
4. Rizki Taufik, PPK at the Bogor Regency PUPR Service

Bribery Receiver:
1. Anthon Merdiansyah, West Java Representative BPK Employee/Head of West Java III Auditorate Sub/Technical Controller
2. Arko Mulawan, West Java Representative BPK employee/Chairman of the Bogor Regency Interim Audit Team
3. Hendra Nur Rahmatullah Karwita, West Java Representative BPK employee/Investigator
4. Gerri Ginajar Trie Rahmatullah, West Java Representative BPK employee/Investigator
