Bogor –
Women homeless and beggars (beggars) were found to be saving millions and a check bearing Rp. 1.35 billion was evacuated by the Social Service (Dinsos) officers Bogor city. It turned out that this woman named Tini had been picked up by the Social Services Agency three times from under the bridge and had been caught keeping Rp. 18 million in cash.
“This is the third time we have evacuated. Previously we also saved money. The first evacuation, four months back, the information was that they brought IDR 18 million. The second (evacuation), before Eid and brought another IDR 8 million. The last (third evacuation) day Here, bring another Rp. 1.8 million,” said the Head of Rehabilitation of the Social Services Agency for the City of Bogor, Dody Wahyudin, Thursday (26/4/2023).
Dodi said that Tini was always picked up by the family after being evacuated from under the bridge twice. The family has also made statements twice to protect Tini so that she does not return to begging and vagrancy in the city of Bogor.
“Previously he was secured at the same location. We have also made a statement signed by his family, if for example later he is caught begging or wandering in the city of Bogor, the family must be held responsible. We also plan to rehabilitate it to an orphanage intended for the elderly, because it includes elderly too,” said Dody.
“This afternoon we took them to RSMM, the luggage was entrusted to the Social Services with a clear receipt. Starting from money, goods, securities,” he added.
Dodi could not be sure where the millions of rupiah money that Tini always carried with him when he was evacuated from under the bridge came from. According to preliminary information, Tini got the money from selling used goods from scavenging and begging.
“From the information we have collected, including the assessment carried out by psychologists, some are said to be the result of selling used goods, there are also gifts from people, and entrusted by his predecessors, he said, which do not make sense to us. That’s why we refer them for treatment and treatment to RSMM,” said Dody.
“Including checks, I don’t know expired or have people fall. Because he is a scavenger by profession. Between him him on the street, or something,” he added.
Previously reported, a beggar who lived at Panaragan Bridge was evacuated by Bogor Social Service (Dinsos) officers. During the evacuation, officers found hundreds of thousands of cash, savings books, and checks that read ‘Rp 1.3 billion’.
In the video seen detikcom, you can see a middle-aged woman wearing a black and white striped shirt being recorded by the officer. In front of him was a pile of money and securities, such as vehicle registration, savings books, ATM cards, and a check that read ‘Rp 1.3 billion’.
Head of Rehabilitation of the Bogor City Social Service Dody Wahyudin confirmed the handling of a beggar in the viral video. According to him, the woman who is a homeless and beggar (sprawled) was evacuated from the Panaragan Bridge, Central Bogor District, Bogor City, this morning.
It turned out that the woman had already been handled by the Social Service Office of Bogor City several times.
“That’s right, this morning we evacuated Mrs. Tini again, a resident of Bogor Regency who we have already evacuated three times. So Mrs. Tini is indeed a homeless and beggar by profession, we evacuated because Mrs. Tini is always around the pedestrian bridge in Panaragan,” said Dody to detikcomThursday (27/4).
