Boeing is cutting 17,000 jobs and delaying jetliner deliveries due to strikes

The American aircraft manufacturer Boeing will cut 17,000 jobs in the coming months, causing 10 percent of the workforce to lose their jobs. The delivery of the 777X jet will also be delayed by a year. The company has suffered a loss of 5 billion dollars (4.5 billion euros) in the past months due to a strike with around 30,000 workers on the west coast of America.
