Boeing 777 engine explodes and wreckage crashes in Denver neighborhood


Wreckage of a United Airlines Boeing 777-200 crashed on Saturday in the suburbs of Denver when the plane had to return to the airport for an emergency landing, following the failure of one of its engines.

The United Airlines plane had taken off from Denver at 8.05 pm to Honolulu. On board 241 people followed, including ten crew members.

Shortly after take-off, one of the engines caught fire.
