BOE: The use of masks will be mandatory from tomorrow: how and when to wear it | Radio Club Tenerife

The Official State Gazette (BOE) has published this Wednesday the ministerial order that regulates the mandatory use of masks (preferably it should be hygienic and surgical) for anyone over the age of six and it is recommended for those with between three and five.

In which cases will it be mandatory?

The document specifies that the use of masks It will be compulsory on public roads, in open air spaces and in spaces for public use that are closed. It is clear, yes, that provided it is not possible to maintain an interpersonal safety distance of at least two meters.

There are exceptions

They will not be obliged to use the masks people who have respiratory difficulties that may be aggravated by its use. Nor will people who have it contraindicated or disabled be required to wear the masks.

For activities that may be incompatible such as eating or drinking, it will not be mandatory either. It is pointed out, without specifying, that in circumstances of force majeure or necessity it is not necessary to have the mask on.

When will it be compulsory?

Specifies in the Official State Gazette that from the day after its publication. That is, from this Thursday on, the use of masks will be mandatory.
