BOE is already a supplier of Apple AMOLED panels

Send the first 10,000 panels for the iPhone 12

After two attempts and rejections, the Chinese display manufacturer finally BOE has received the green light to be an Apple supplier, specifically, for the iPhone 12.

Now it already has the certificate and it is reported that it has already offered the first batch of its AMOLED panels to produce this smartphone since this month, which is in wide demand and thus be able to meet customers. It was previously rumored that it would be until the middle of 2021.

Specifically, there are 10 thousand units of 6.1-inch panels, intended for the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, for which it combined two of its production lines and the second is expected to be delivered before January 1, 2021.

In this way, Apple adds to its third provider of panels, being Samsung Display and LG Display the others. In any case, it continues with the search for others to meet the demand. Samsung will provide it with 130 million, LG 40 million and BOE between 10 and 20 million.
