Due to the corona pandemic with its lockdowns and the severely restricted access to clinics, there were significantly fewer blood donations. The EMS company Bodystreet, founded in 2007, therefore called for a blood donation campaign on its 15th anniversary and donated one liter of blood for every 100 training sessions completed.

Emma and Matthias Lehner opened in July 2007 the first EMS boutique studio in the Münchner Freiheit – and they knew from the start: “We want detached from the pure bodybuilder image another, reach new target audience and look after people personally and individually.”

Too few blood donations because of Corona
As a thank you, one anniversary promotion of a special kind – one that of the whole benefits society: die Blood donation campaign “Courage to blood”. Because above all during the corona pandemic with the two lockdowns and severely restricted access to clinics the number of urgently needed blood donations fell sharply.
A liter of blood per 100 workouts
This is exactly where the Bodystreet anniversary campaign came in: For every 100 training sessions – it doesn’t matter whether Personal training, trial training or outdoor workout – Bodystreet donated one liter of blood on the day of the anniversary.

And there was another reason to celebrate: Like every year on July 1 Bodystreet celebrated the „Emma Day“. A day when Bodystreet more than normal committed to social issues.
In 2021 there was one appeal for donations. All donations with the subject “Emma Day 2021” were sent to the Henry Maske Foundation forwarded to there to help socially disadvantaged children.
Train and do good
With each training session, the amount of blood increasedby the company was donated. So all participants did not just yourselfbut also of society something good and could save lives…
