Brazilian bodybuilder Christian Figueiredo has died at the age of 29. It was stated that the man died after suffering a stroke.
Before he died, Figueiredo underwent liver surgery. However, his condition worsened due to complications.
“The operation was supposed to be quite simple, but there were complications. Chris needed surgery but unfortunately he had a stroke,” explained his fellow bodybuilder, Ricardo Alexandre Martins Correia.
“They were trying to prevent the bleeding from becoming serious, bleeding, and then he had an unusual heart attack,” he continued, quoted from The SunMonday (30/10/2023).
Ricardo said his colleague’s body went into shock and bleeding occurred. At that time, the medical team tried to stop the bleeding so that it wasn’t too serious.
However, the bleeding started to enter the heart.
“So there was nothing the doctors could do to revive him. The team is very skilled here. Strong doctors,” he said.
Figueiredo is known for his extraordinary physique. In fact, he is currently preparing the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation in 2024.

This most often occurs due to blocked arteries or bleeding in the brain. Without a stable blood supply, cells in the brain area will begin to die due to lack of oxygen.
