Body of Missing Man Found in House Search in Elst, Netherlands

The body of a man was found today during an investigation in a house in Elst. Police believe it is a 57-year-old man who has been missing since September 2022, reports Broadcasting Gelderland.

This morning, a 56-year-old woman was also arrested in the investigation into the missing man. She is suspected of involvement in the disappearance and death of the man, and of using his personal data.

The relationship the woman had with the man has not been disclosed. Over the months, it became increasingly plausible that the man had not disappeared voluntarily and that a crime had been committed.
