BREEZAND – The police found the body of a 24-year-old man from Julianadorp in the Noordhollands Kanaal on Monday, who had previously been reported missing.
A citizen net report was also issued on Monday afternoon asking everyone to look out for the 24-year-old man with short blond hair and blue eyes. He might just be wearing his underwear.
Because clothes probably belonging to this person were found along the quay near the ferry across the Noordhollands Kanaal, divers were searched for him on the spot.
In the evening it was reported that the body of the missing man had been found in the Noordhollands Kanaal. Police are investigating how the man ended up in the canal. For the time being, no crime is suspected.
