He also clarified that “the autopsy carried out on April 17, 2023 does not reveal any trace of intervention by a third party and in particular no trace of physical or sexual violence. The cause of death is death by drowning or hypothermia, which will be determined by further examinations“.
In addition, investigations are continuing to determine under what circumstances the child may have been in the river.
Marciano, a 7-year-old autistic boy, had been wanted since Sunday 9 April. He had disappeared at the foot of the building where his family lives, in the Tour Chabot district.
