The body of a 20-year-old young man was found on Thursday August 3 in the Deûle, in Lille (Nord). He had been wanted since last Monday, reports France Bleu Nord on Friday. An investigation into the cause of death has been opened.
“Despite a strong mobilization and your many shares, Rayan’s body was found yesterday at the end of the day”writes the National Police of the North on Twitter this Friday morning. “Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones. Please no longer relay the search notice concerning him”.
This young man, Rayan, had not given any news to his relatives since Monday. He was last seen at 4 a.m. outside a city park. The Lille police station had launched a call for witnesses on Thursday.
An inquest is now open to determine the cause of death. The body must be autopsied.
