The police found the body of the Arnhemmer who had been missing since the end of May on Friday. The 41-year-old man was wanted in connection with possible involvement in the death of a 33-year-old woman from the Gelderland city.
The man’s body was found Friday morning in the Rijkerswoerdse Plassen between Arnhem and Elst. The police were able to confirm Friday evening that it was the missing Arnhemmer.
He was wanted in connection with an incident on May 26. That evening the body of a woman was found on the Cuijkstraat in Arnhem. Police believe she died as a result of a crime.
Shortly afterwards, the police distributed the description of the Arnhemmer. It is not yet clear what his exact role in the death of the woman was. Concerns were expressed about the man’s confused condition.
