A man was found dead as he fell from the 5th floor of a shopping mall in South Jakarta (Jaksel). Suspect male body commit suicide Police evacuated the crime scene (TKP).
monitoring detik com at the location at 4.30pm WIB, Saturday (12/11/2022), the TKP was packed with mall visitors who wanted to see the scene of the accident. A police yellow line was also assigned to the scene of the accident.
A hearse was seen parked right outside the scene. The agents of the hearse and several carabinieri arrived on the scene for the evacuation of the man’s body.
One of the witnesses at the scene, Fikri, said the incident shocked visitors to the mall. “It happened out of the blue around 2pm WIB. He was there again to smoke in the fifth floor parking lot, on the other side. Then suddenly he fell to the bottom of the sitting position,” Fikri said at the scene.
As it is known, a man was found dead in the mall of Kuningan area, South Jakarta. The victim died by suicide.
“That’s right, later-update yes,” Setiabudi police chief Kompol M Agung Permana said when contacted on Saturday (12/11).
Agung said the incident happened around 2:30 PM WIB. The victim jumped from the fifth floor of the mall parking lot.
“There is a man suspected of suicide. Free fall from the P5 floor,” he said.
The victim was found dead at the scene. The police are now proceeding with the evacuation. “The victim died instantly. The Criminal Investigation Unit returned to the scene,” concluded Agung.
