Body of Decomposed Girl Found Next to Elderly Mother in Dokki District, Giza

Less than hours had passed since the murder of a young man who had stabbed his older brother with 30 stab wounds in El Mounib, until the police found the body of a decomposed girl next to her elderly mother in a state of fainting in the Dokki district in the center of Giza.

Major General Ahmed Al-Wateidi, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department in Giza, received a notification from the Rescue Police Department that a foul odor emanated from the apartment of the Dokki Police Department.

An examination found the body of a twenty-year-old girl in a state of decomposition, and next to her was her elderly mother, who was in a state of fainting. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Colonel Mustafa Khalil, Inspector of the Central Division investigations, formed a research team led by Lieutenant Colonel Amr Farouk, head of the Dokki investigations, and his two assistants, Majors Amr Mostafa and Muhammad Wahid, to uncover the circumstances of the incident.

The body was transferred to the Zeinhom morgue at the disposal of the Forensic Medicine Authority to determine the cause of death and the existence of a criminal suspicion or not, and to issue a report on the incident.
