Local residents on Prins Hendriklaan called the emergency services around 00:50 am last night. After the fire was extinguished, the police launched an investigation.
Suspicious circumstances
Police confirm the discovery of the body and say there are suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire. It is not yet clear who the victim is.
A police spokesperson cannot say anything about the case to RTL Nieuws. “The investigation is in full swing. I hope that more will become clear in the course of the day.”
