Body found after fire in Kaag apartment complex

The spokesman for the Hollands Midden security region said earlier today that he was afraid that the missing person had died in the fire.

With the discovery of the body, the investigation has been handed over to the police. He will further investigate the identity of the deceased and whether it is indeed the missing person.

Replacement housing

The fire caused extensive damage to the complex, which consists of twenty apartments and a restaurant. The first floor has become uninhabitable due to the fire and the ground floor must probably also be regarded as lost due to damage from the extensive extinguishing water. Alternative housing is being sought for the residents.
