This came during the activities of the Knowledge and Education Forum, organized by the American University of Sharjah, to celebrate the 25th anniversary (Silver Jubilee) of its founding.
Participants in the forum touched on the role of scientific research in promoting the growth of universities, with a focus on the fields of biotechnology, medicine, biomedical engineering, supercomputers, and artificial intelligence, and shared their visions about innovative practical solutions to overcome the challenges facing higher education.

Dr. Hisham Al-Sharif, a member of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Sharjah, spoke about the university’s vision for the future, while Sultan Al-Ghurair, a member of the Board of Directors of the Abdullah Al-Ghurair Foundation for Education, spoke about the “Voices of Community Leaders” theme.
