– We received a message from the security at Bodø airport that during the X-ray they see an object that looks like a hand grenade, says operations manager Ivar Bo Nilsson to TV 2.

The police quickly got in touch with a father, who said that this was his son’s toy – a practice grenade.
– It may not be common knowledge that checked luggage is also screened, but it is not wise to have something like that in the luggage.
At 19.02, passengers were allowed to enter the terminal again.
– There was a bit of chaos over there, yes. The airport should not have been evacuated due to a grenade. It’s just a matter of taking the suitcase aside and treating it in the usual way, Nilsson believes.
