A number of bodies were found in the landing gear of a military plane United States of America (USA) which airs from Kabul, Afghanistan, after the chaos triggered by his return to power Taliban. The U.S. Air Force is currently investigating the discovery of the body.
As reported Reuters, Wednesday (18/8/2021), the bodies were found inside wheel well or a narrow room where the plane’s wheels are stored while in flight. The discovery of this body occurred in one of the military aircraft type C-17 used by the US military in the evacuation process from Kabul in recent days.
The US has deployed thousands of troops and military aircraft to Kabul airport since the weekend to secure the evacuation of diplomats and citizens. However, chaos was inevitable as thousands of Afghans gathered at the airport.
Residents flooded the runway in order to get on planes to leave their country and escape the notorious Taliban. Photographs circulating on social media since earlier this week show desperate Afghans clinging to and clinging to the fuselage and wheels of a plane to leave Kabul.
Another video even shows the horrific moment when two people who were desperate to hang on to a US military plane, fell from a height after the plane took off from Kabul airport. Several people are reported to have died as a result of this kind of reckless act.
The US Air Force said in a statement that a C-17 military aircraft landed at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul on Monday (16/8) local time and was immediately swarmed by hundreds of Afghan civilians.
“In response to the rapidly deteriorating security situation in the vicinity of the aircraft, the crew of the C-17 decided to leave the airfield as quickly as possible,” the US Air Force said in a statement.
