Boca Juniors presented this Wednesdayupon celebrating 119 years of history, the New t-shirt that the team will use this season with nods to the Swedish origin of the institution’s colors.
“On the day of our anniversary, a tribute to our origins. The new third shirt is now available,” the entity announced in a publication through the social network. X.
The message is accompanied by a video in which several players from the Ribera club are seen, such as the Uruguayan forward Edinson Cavani, aboard a ship in which the sweden flag.
And the institution founded by a group of young Genoese owes his blue and yellow colors to an anecdote in the port of Buenos Aires, when the precursors decided opt for the colors of a ship with the Swedish flag to differentiate itself from the rest of the clubs that were flourishing in the country.
