Boca Juniors: Players Returned from Loans Moved Apart on First Day of Training

Seven Boca players who returned from loans moved apart on the first day of training. This Tuesday, Diego Martínez began his era at the head of the Xeneize team but decided to work only with those players who are assured of his continuity on the team.

There are several players of Boca who returned from the loans and who must define their future. Many of them are juveniles, although there are other cases that are worth analyzing. Footballers who come with a journey and who could well stay to fight for a place.

Seven of those footballers worked in a different way during Xeneize’s return to practice. they are Aaron Molinas (Tigre), Gonzalo Maroni (San Lorenzo), Renzo Giampaoli (Quilmes), Maximiliano Zalazar (Platense), Agustín Obando (Tigre), Gabriel Vega (Godoy Cruz) and Lucas Brochero (Arsenal).

The most striking case is that of Molinas, who was coached by Martínez in Inferiores and then requested as reinforcement in Matador. Maroni, in turn, had a good semester in the Ciclón and also hoped to have a chance. Giampaoli, meanwhile, stood out at Cervecero but the overpopulation of center backs (Figa, Rojo, Valentini, Molinas, Valdez and Lema) would leave him without opportunities.

In principle, they will continue training with a Professor while waiting for new offers. Boca’s idea is to negotiate them or give them to a competitive team. The most wanted are Molinas, Maroni and Giampaoli.

Another player who did not work with the group was Frank Fabra. The Colombian, who will be a father again, requested special permission to join the preseason a day later. The full-back, who did not end well in 2023, was on vacation in Colombia and is expected to be present at Boca Predio this Wednesday.
