Bobby Lashley was interviewed on the podcast Table Talk from D-Von Dudley, where he talked about teaming up with MVP and the segments that made him uncomfortable. Here are the most important statements:
“MVP and I started working together at Impact. I was excited about the natural chemistry we had. We became such friends that what we do in front of the cameras is to show ourselves as we really are. Paul Heyman came up to me one day and wondered what he thought of MVP. I said I would like to work with him again and Heyman was not very convinced. Then they asked me the question several more times and I didn’t know what to answer. I really wanted us to do something together“.
Uncomfortable segments with Lana
Lashley opened up about making stories that might make him uncomfortable, an example of which is the story of being Lana’s new partner, including a wedding and marriage dramas: “There are certain things you have to do in the wrestling business because it is the best for the show. “When I came back to WWE, I wanted my kids to come with me to the shows, to be in the front row and watch me fight every week.
