Bob Savenberg: From Clouseau Drummer to Flemish Representative

LOOK. Bob Savenberg, ex-Clouseau drummer, takes oath as Flemish representative

Savenberg has been locally active for some time at Open Vld in Dilbeek, Flemish Brabant, where he is chairman of Blauw Dilbeek. He himself will no longer stand in the municipal elections in Dilbeek next year. At the end of this year he would also move to Overijse. He is also manager of various artists, including Staf Coppens.

He’s looking forward to it too, although that didn’t really come through in his first short responses. “I would like to experience it” and “I will have to see how I can manage it all”. These were statements that did not sound very ambitious in the Wetstraat, but he corrected that in an interview with HLN.

“I really want to make a difference, both in the party board, of which I am now a member, and in parliament. I know I only have seven months, but I will still try to achieve a few things in my domain — media and entertainment,” said Savenberg.
