US actor Bob Odenkirk collapsed on Tuesday during the filming of Call Saul in New Mexico and had to be taken to hospital.
Members of the filming team called an ambulance, which took the 58-year-old actor to the hospital. It is not yet clear what caused his collapse or how long he could stay in the hospital. The AP agency informed about it tonight.
Call Saul is a spin-off storyline preceding the popular series Gingerbread Dad and, like him, is filmed mostly in Albuquerque. Now the sixth and final series of the series Call Saul is being shot, which will be premiered next year by AMC.
Odenkirk has been nominated four times for an Emmy Award for his role as the title character, the unfortunate lawyer Jimmy McGill, who is becoming increasingly corrupt and will adopt the pseudonym Saul Goodman. He played the same role in Gingerbread Dad.
