The discreet Minnesota singer is overwhelmed with projects.

At almost 81 years old, Bob Dylan is on all fronts. On an American tour first, where he took his bus back to defend “Rough and Rowdy Ways”, his excellent last album. But also at the museum, since the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, has just opened a place dedicated to its archives, acquired in 2016. The Bob Dylan Center intends to present the work of the master in all its complexity: from his influences from youth to his first musical emotions and his first notorious feats of arms. But above all the documents written or recorded by Dylan will be available to researchers and historians, all being digitized.

Bob Dylan stays away from any form of celebration. Fleeing human contact, he was not present at the inauguration on May 10 and will not give any interview to tell his story. The same goes for the Château La Coste, which since May 8 has hosted “Rail Car”, the artist’s first sculpture, as well as some of his colorful paintings. Finally, for purists, Hibbing, the town where Robert Zimmerman spent his childhood, inaugurated the Hibbing Dylan Project, an art school under the high literary patronage of the singer. In the fall, he will publish “The Philosophy of Modern Song”, a story about the art and the way of writing a song. And for those who dream of approaching the idol: Dylan will return to European theaters in 2023.
