Depending on the type of ship data you have entered, the tariff calculator for boat insurance offers you direct online insurance or you will be contacted individually by our team to discuss an individual offer for boat liability insurance, hull insurance or other insurance.
Direct insurance
If it is possible to take out insurance directly, you will receive an e-mail in which you will be asked to set a password for your user account. Confirm your password by entering it again in the field provided and select “Confirmation / Login”. You are now logged into your customer account.
The details you have already provided are stored in the customer account. In order to get to your offer, please navigate to the category “My contracts, invoices and offers” and here the button “Offers”. You will now see your offer with reference number. Click on the “To application” button to access the insurance recommendations and product details.
Depending on the insurance product, you now have the option of defining individual product features of your insurance offer. In the case of boat liability insurance, this can be the amount of the coverage, in the case of hull insurance, the amount of the deductible in the event of damage to the yacht. If you do not want to take out an insurance product, simply deselect it using the button provided!
Now enter the desired start of insurance and then provide the additional information requested, for example the HIN number of your boat or the berth.
Then save the means of payment and confirm the final declaration with a tick. Click on “Next”. You will now receive a final overview of the insurance products you have selected. If you would like to make changes at this point, you can do this using the “Change” button. Complete the ordering process by clicking on the “Order for a fee” button. The contract is concluded when the insurance policy is sent and made available in the customer account.
