Boat aground – rescue operation started

On Saturday at 9:30 pm, the emergency services moved and started a rescue operation following news that a boat had run aground outside Porsgrunn.

– It is located on an islet near Grenlandsbrua. Two people with unknown extent of damage, operations manager Arild Alfheim tells TV 2.

Both police and ambulance personnel rushed to the islet with boats.

– Both are active and under review by the health system. He appears more or less unharmed, the police write shortly before 10pm.
