Boards with timetable data removed

Harder logistics dismantled the two LED boards with the timetable information yesterday using an articulated telescopic platform. Now the station hall is out of order – no one would know where the train came from or where it was going.

Railway critics say that the railway didn’t know this before, despite its LED boards, but now the two boards have been professionally dismantled and no one can get any information. With the help of a suitable forklift, the panels were lowered and placed on the wooden pallets made for them – cleaned and packed, Harder logistics said in a statement.

The panels are then brought to the forecourt via the main exit. A Harder logistics truck takes over here. A loading crane then takes over the panels and transports them along the specified route to just before the storage location at platform 1 – here the pallets are brought back into the storage hall using a forklift.

The moving professionals from Hardre logistics deployed a 4-man team consisting of a team leader, transporter, metal worker and crane driver.

The company used an articulated telescopic platform, a 2 ton and a 3 ton compact electric forklift truck and of course the truck loading crane as equipment.

Train journeys from Ulm will be adventurous over the next two years – during this time the station hall will be completely renovated and will remain closed. This was already the case with the adventure, say the critics from above again.

The entrance hall will be renovated, with escalators and new flooring. The roof should also be glazed to let in more light; The heating is also being replaced. The renovation will last until the end of 2026. It should cost a total of around 30 million euros.
