The number of victims of the depravity of a boarding school nanny in Batang named Wildan Masyuri (57) increased to 22 people. A total of 17 female students were raped.
“Out of a total of 22 female students, 17 were sexually assaulted, 4 were obscene, 1 person had not received a post mortem,” said Central Java Police Public Relations Head Kombes M Iqbal Alqudusy via short message, Friday (14/4/2023).
Iqbal explained the details of disclosing the number of victims, which were originally 15 people in this initial report. Then two people on Tuesday (11/4), two people on Wednesday (12/4), and three people on Thursday (13/4).
“The Batang Police’s efforts to provide assistance to victims who are still children. Collaborate with related agencies to carry out trauma healing for victims,” said Iqbal.
It should be noted that Wildan has been carrying out his lecherous acts since 2019. His mode of action is to force the victim in the name of his teachings and then give him pocket money.
“The modus operandi of the perpetrator was that this female student was invited to the canteen and other crime scenes in the morning to have sex with the promise of karomah from the kiai. Then she, the process was like consent granted, legal as husband and wife, then had intercourse ,” said the Central Java Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi during a press conference at the Batang Police, Tuesday (11/4).
For his actions the suspect was charged with Law Number 23 concerning Child Protection with a penalty of 15 years in prison.
“However, because the suspect’s actions were repeated, the penalty could be 15 years and a maximum of 20 years in prison,” said Lutfhi.
