BN’ers put their Instagram on black Entertainment

entertainment">Various organizations such as the Pinkpop, Best Kept Secret and Eurosonic Noorderslag festivals also participate, and concert halls such as AFAS Live and the Ziggo Dome posted a completely black image on their social media. With #TheShowMustBePaused, they too want to consider racism in the United States and around the world.

entertainment">Blackout Tuesday was launched after George Floyd’s violent death last week. The dark-skinned man died in Minneapolis after a brutal police crackdown. Floyd’s death sparked major protests and numerous disturbances and looting across the US. Celebrities also took to the streets to protest.

entertainment">Numerous BN’ers were also present at the protest on Dam Square in Amsterdam on Monday. Among others Georgina Verbaan, Halina Reijn, Doutzen Kroes and Hadewych Minis participated in the demonstration.
