BMW CEO Oliver Tsepse said on Saturday that the company intends to launch six models within 24 months as part of its next line, “Neue Klasse”, which is dedicated to electric cars only.
Production of the Neue Classe electric vehicle line is scheduled to start in 2025 at the company’s factory in Debrecen, Hungary.
“We plan to very quickly put six models on the road within 24 months,” Tsepse said in a speech at the IAA Motor Show in Munich.
“Vehicles ranging from SUVs to sedans will offer something for every type of customer. What they all have in common is the pure electric motor that drives them,” he added.
