BMW presents the introductory edition of the X5 M and X6 M models a year after its premiere

Car manufacturers often launch the First Edition as they introduce their latest models to attract customers. At BMW, however, they do it differently this time, and about a year after the introduction of the new X5 M and X6 M, they have now created a limited edition of 250 pieces from each model. This is the first limited edition anyway.

The vehicles will be available in two exclusive colors, Frozen Dark Silver and Frozen Marina Bay Blue, which are normally only available in the Individual program. The paints are to further underline the sharp design features of both cars. Cast wheels from the M equipment are painted black in Jet shade. They are twenty-one inches at the front and an inch larger at the back.

Both limited series also have a range of carbon fiber accessories, whether it’s rear-view mirrors, a rear spoiler or an engine cover.

In the interior, BMW used special Merino leather from the Individual equipment and two-tone lining Silverstone and Midnight Blue. Alcantara leather and orange stitching in Sakhir were also used on the seats. Carbon fiber is not missing in the cabin and the inscription First Edition 1/250 has become a matter of course.

As for the engine, it remained the same for both cars. It is an eight-cylinder engine with a displacement of 4.4 liters and two turbochargers. The unit produces 625 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque.

BMW has not yet mentioned the prices, but it can be assumed that the limited edition will significantly exceed the basic prices of the models. The regular X5 M costs 3,322,800 crowns and the X6 M costs 3,398,200 crowns on the Czech market.
