BMW pledges to unveil six new models within two years as the ‘Neue Klasse’ era launches in 2025.

The German car manufacturer BMW is currently intensively developing its new generation of electric cars, which have received the designation Neue Klasse. The first Neue Klasse model is expected to enter series production in 2025, and the first model is expected to be an electric 3 Series.

BMW chairman Oliver Cipse promises that it will usher in a powerful offensive, with BMW presenting a total of six new models in two years’ time. The countdown will begin in the second half of 2025, when the production of the first Neue Klasse model will begin.

Industry analysts point out that such a rapid launch of models is relatively unexpected. Currently, the car manufacturer is making the necessary preparations to realize its ambitions – a new factory is being built in the Hungarian city of Debrecen, and existing factories are also being rebuilt, which are adapted to the needs of electric car production.

We can expect new and official news from the manufacturer about Neue Klasse machines at the beginning of September, when the IAA Mobility 2023 event will be held at BMW’s home in Munich. The manufacturer has not previously hidden that the new cars will use a different type of battery, as well as other technical improvements, as BMW has high hopes for these next-generation electric cars. We already got a certain insight into how BMW sees the future of the automotive industry at this year’s CES 2023 – the i Vision Dee concept shown there is a futuristic view of BMW’s future design language and planned technologies in new cars.
