BMW plans to launch a luxurious small city car in China targeted at millionaires

BMW believes that there is a place in the world and a demand for a small city car that will be flashy and luxurious at the same time. The reason is supposed to be the fact that there are more and more new millionaires and millionaires globally. And the largest center of these people is understandably economically and technologically advanced China.

There are currently 5.3 million dollar millionaires living in the huge Asian country, as well as two-thirds of all self-made billionaires. And their number is still growing. This is also why BMW would like to head to China with such a car, where it intends to appeal mainly to demanding women – millionaires or even billionaires.

“Luxury is not expressed only by size. Hermes handbags are also not cheaper, even if they are small. The number of rich people continues to increase and it affects our thinking,” he said in an interview for CarBuzz head of design for BMW Domagoj Dukec, who had a tendency to compare cars to luxury goods, which often cost huge amounts, even if they are small.
