BMW Neue Klasse prototype spotted for the first time on the street during tests in Germany

The German car manufacturer BMW is actively developing the new generation electric car platform Neue Klasse, which will also be designed for the needs of internal combustion engines. The first cars of the new generation are expected in 2025, but now the Neue Klasse prototype has been seen on the streets of Germany for the first time.

The pictures show a new crossover, which is probably the successor of the BMW X3. As usual, the car is covered in camouflage paint to reveal as little as possible, but from the images it is clear that BMW is developing a new front design with a new radiator grille, lights and other details.

So far, there is no information about the car interior, but BMW has previously shown concepts at various events, how the interiors of future cars could look like and what technologies they plan to implement.

The manufacturer has previously confirmed that the first Neue Klasse model will be a 3 Series-sized sedan, with a new crossover soon to follow, replacing the current X3 and electric iX3. BMW promises significant improvements in machine efficiency and charging speed, promising an ever-increasing range on a single charge. The manufacturer does not hide that the new platform allows to create a car with a power of around 1300-1400 horsepower, while the battery technology will allow to drive 1000 kilometers with one charge.
