Although the BMW i7 is undoubtedly “green” for a vehicle of its size, green paintwork is certainly not standard for the luxury sedan. There is not a single green or even greenish color in the regular color program for the BMW 7 Series and i7; even the gentle Cape York Green, which has recently been offered for more and more model series, is not available for the luxury flagship. If you still don’t want to do without green, you will also find a solution thanks to BMW Individual – and in addition to the options shown in the online visualizer, there are even more exclusive paint finishes such as Sonoma Green Metallic.
We can now see the extremely rare special request color in some photos from Bulgaria, which show a correspondingly painted BMW i7 xDrive60 (G70). The electric 7 Series in Sonoma Green was among other things BMW Auto Bavaria in Sofia and carries the M Sport package in its regular version, which is why, in addition to green and black surfaces, there are also many shiny silver elements to be seen – above all the powerful double kidney grille, but also a full-width rear apron trim and of course the high-sheen ones Surfaces of the 21-inch light alloy wheels in star-spoke 908 M Bicolor design.
In addition to Sonoma Green, BMW Individual also offers a variety of other bright colors that can make the 7 Series stand out from the crowd of luxury sedans: While most customers prefer muted colors, we also have the G70 in extroverted versions such as Frozen Purple, You can see Sonic Speed Blue Two-Tone, Velvet Orchid or Aurora Diamond Green.
The xDrive60, which was once the only BMW i7 and has 544 hp, has now gained a small and a big brother, so that customers looking for an electric 7 Series have several options: Below is the BMW i7 eDrive50 with pure rear-wheel drive and also a confident 455 hp have, the top model BMW i7 M70 sits above it with the power of 660 hp and 1,015 Newton meters of torque – but also with a price of at least 182,200 euros.
