Now the Geely holding has become the third largest shareholder of the British automaker: larger shares belong to the head of the company Lawrence Stroll (28.43%) and the Saudi Arabia Sovereign Fund (18.67%). The expansion of the share allowed Geely to get two seats on the board of directors of Aston Martin at once: one manager and one observer will be appointed.

Stellantis abandoned plans to produce an electric model Chrysler Airflow, although the concept cars presented last year (white and black) were presented as close to the car series. The start of production of the Airflow model was planned for 2025. According to preliminary information, the head of the Chrysler brand, Christine Fewell, decided to close the Airflow project in favor of a more sought-after full-size crossover. The timing of its appearance is not yet clear.

Published the first official images of the new sedan Cadillac CT6, which in the second generation will become a purely Chinese model. The car was certified last fall, but now the interior (with a single 33-inch screen on the front panel) and chassis (with a spring suspension) are shown. The sedan will get a new body with a design in the style of the latest models of the company, but all the equipment will remain the same. Japan unveils prototype electric delivery van Daihatsu Hijet Cargo EV. It was developed jointly by Toyota, Daihatsu and Suzuki. The format of the current kei cars was used: length – 3395 mm, width – 1475 mm. There are no technical data yet, only mileage per charge (200 km) and load capacity (350 kg) are declared. The production of such vans under three brands will be established at the Daihatsu plant until the end of fiscal year 2023, that is, until the spring of calendar 2024.

The first batch of such crossovers came to Russia just a few days ago, it will take another two weeks for their clearance and delivery to dealers, and only then prices will be announced. It is promised that hybrids will be slightly cheaper than ET5 electric vehicles, which now cost from 4.5 million rubles.
