The BMW 4 Series coupe and convertible have been improved as part of the facelift program.
The visual improvements are really small – a new internal graphic design has been created for the front and rear lights, a checkered pattern has been given to the typical BMW radiator “nostrils”, black or chrome finish for the same grille depending on the version. LED-Matrix headlights and taillights with laser lights are available for a surcharge.
Also in the interior, small modifications, which include the location of the previously introduced Curved Display, a new steering wheel, ventilation and conditioning equipment, while background lighting and electrically folding external mirrors will already be standard equipment.
The engines of the 4-series coupe and cabriolet cover the power range from 184 hp to 374 hp in all versions, working with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All six-cylinder inline engines are also equipped with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, as is the four-cylinder diesel. Depending on the variant – rear or all-wheel drive, sports or adaptive suspension – optional equipment. M Performance models M440i and M440d also have a sports gearbox, sports brakes and an M sports differential as standard equipment.
BMW 4 Series electronic assistants include forward collision warning system with automatic braking, cruise control with braking function, road sign recognition, manual speed limit assist system, lane departure warning with automatic return function.
For a surcharge, remote parking control with front and rear sensors is offered, which can be improved with Park View, Panorama View and Remote 3D View functions, adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go, driver assistance system with steering and lane assistants.
It is known that the price of the BMW 4 Series modernized model coupe will start at 52,900 euros, while the convertible will cost at least 60,400 euros. Both will go on sale in March.
